REPORTING TO: Account Director

 

LOCATION: Hybrid-working; Tuesdays & Thursdays in our London office

 

 

What does the role involve?

 

  • Work hand in hand with the Account Director and assume a principal role in the development of account/campaign strategies to enable future growth of accounts.
  • Take responsibility for project management of Paid Search activity and coordinate tasks between team members to deliver projects on time and to required standard.
  • Be the primary point of contact for the Client and coordinate all client communications: meetings, calls, workshops etc.
  • Assume responsibility for development of team Account Managers & Account Executives.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell business internal and industry tools & technologies.
  • Develop strong media owner relationships; ensuring clients are first to market with relevant beta trials.
  • Keep Account Director abreast of all client activity, communication and developments.
  • Adhere to deadlines given by Client/Account Director.
  • Effectively manage any external/internal queries/issues on Account.
  • Co-ordinate relationship and work load between team members.
  • Take responsibility for the strategy and team coordination required to achieve client KPI targets.
  • Oversee ad copy strategy & optimisation.
  • Oversee keyword selection and optimisation strategy.
  • Oversee tracking, trafficking and bid management through appropriate tools.
  • Proactively innovate and drive new channels and initiatives to encourage profitable growth.
  • Maintain communication with Finance, Strategy and Technical and Data Insight teams.
  • Ensure that all company financial processes and deadlines put in place are adhered to, and that all work is produced to a high degree of accuracy.
  • Monitor delivery of client campaigns to ensure accuracy of delivery.
  • Assume lead responsibility for future planning and forecasting at a campaign and account level.
  • Responsible for ensuring all weekly, monthly & ad hoc reports for the Client are produced in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Ensure the team performs daily ad checks on competitor activity and reported to the client.
  • Regularly relay latest Search & Industry related data to the client and internally.

 

Clients

  • Establish and develop Client relations at a senior level.
  • Organise & attend client meetings, chairing discussions and providing informative account insight to grow the account and gain competitive advantage.
  • Coordinate all presentation materials for Client meetings and conference calls.
  • Reply to all Client correspondence as priority or delegating this to others in the team as necessary.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • University Degree (or international equivalent).
  • Three years online experience minimum within a biddable media role.
  • Performance biddable media experience
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Proven record of managing accounts with multiple stakeholders.
  • Able to demonstrate strong Project management skills.
  • Excellent time management, numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Maths Qualification (GCSE, A Level or international equivalent) desirable, along with evidence of mathematical competency.
  • Agency, Media Owner or Client Side experience essential.
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • GAP qualified.
